Autumnal Yoga
Hello, yogis!
I’m still teaching Tuesdays and Thursdays at Balanced You.
Tuesdays are Gentle Yoga at 5:30. 75 minutes. Lots of restorative and yin yoga, plus gentle strengthening.
Thursdays are Mindful Yoga from 6-7:30. This is my more traditional hatha practice.
This particular Thursday (10/20), we won’t have class. I’m travelling to take care of my mom during her knee replacement.
The reservations on the website are very useful, so I encourage you to use it. There’s no login or anything, you just tell me who you are and when you’re coming. That way, if there’s a last minute cancellation, I can let you know.
As a group, we’re not masking. Usually there’s just 3 or 4 of us in the room anyway. I do still ask that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, thanks! Getting vaccinated for the flu is nice, too.
Sad news: Those of you who practiced with us on Zoom during lockdown might remember my cat Ruby. She’s the less fluffy of the two black cats. She died unexpectedly (and mysteriously) last Friday. She’s the first one we’ve ever lost unexpectedly. Usually there are months (or years) of health issues and medication. So Robin and I and Phantom Cat are bummed about that. MJ and Lucy really could care less, but Ruby took care of a lot of the babysitting duties for a very needy Phantom, so he’s feeling her absence. He thought she was really awesome and liked to copy whatever she did. Ruby was a very good cat, even when (or especially when) she sat on me or licked my fingers during our zoom yoga.
I look forward to seeing you in class this autumn.
namaste,
